My name is Olivia Hubble and I am a third year student at the University of Cincinnati! I am currently pursuing degrees in both Criminal Justice and History, as well as a Arabic Culture and Language Studies minor. I have been presented with so many opportunities just within my first couple of years here at this great institution. Having been part of a study abroad seminars to Dublin, Ireland and Edinburgh, Scotland, participating in a splash of undergraduate research with UC Crime Reduction Project, holding positions within UC's student government (at a college and the wider university level), I feel as though I have really been immersed into the Bearcat culture in the past two years. In addition to these great opportunities I partake in few extracurricular around campus. I am involved in the College of Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services Tribunal in which I held the Faculty Relations position for the 2013- 2014 school year. New to this academic year, I am a member of the Student Safety Board and sit in on Be Smart Be Safe Marketing Committee meetings. I also participate in the Bearcat Buddies program through the Center for Community Engagement and work with the Literacy Network of Greater Cincinnati where I travel to Roll Hill elementary and Parker Woods Montessori to provide academic assistance and mentoring to K-3rd graders. I hope to fully capture and reflect my experiences through this portfolio and give an idea of the things I have and want to accomplish on this college journey!
